This is the most recent info on exam 2. Some of this was mentioned at last night's review, some may be new even for those who attended the review: 1. We will not include the "baud-rate mismatch" problems on THIS exam. 2. You will therefore not need your calculator, and will not be allowed to use one. 3. I will try to pose the programming problems in bullet or chart form, or somehow make the question itself less verbose. 4. There is almost guaranteed to be a memory decoding problem (such as # 1 on the practice exam and/or HW # 9) 5. NEW INFO: I may try to ask some background questions in short answer or fill in the blank format. (What is meant by "handshaking"--explain, using a timing diagram, etc) I think that's pretty much it.
