I guess a couple of things slipped out, which may (but probably won't) change by tomorrow: Calculators will be allowed Exam is 5 problems, 105 points total. Probably will be graded out of 100 (e.g., 5 pts EC) Timing diagram problem will look more like the test and example in Huang than like the quizzes Some True False or short answer (lumped together in 1 of the 5 problems) 2 analysis problems (such as timing diagram, trace, cycle-by-cycle, dis-assemble, etc) 2 design problems (such as firehouse traffic light or quiz, memory decode, etc) Goal was 30% new material (since 2nd exam) This could be detailed problem on handshaking, SCI subsystem or short answers on SCI, A/D, TIC/TOC, EEPROM, selecting a microcontroller, etc Goal was: 25 % "This looks VERY familiar" -- regurgitate Homework or Exam problem almost exactly. 50% "yeah, I expected this" -- similar to HW/Exam problem w/ slight changes" 25% "I can figure out this slightly new twist, based on what I've learned so far" Good luck
