SDSU Physics Curricula

The South Dakota State University Physics Department offers four different curriculums leading to Bachelor of Science degrees with a number of options available within each of these majors. These curricula are built around a strong core of physics courses complemented by courses in related areas.

One hundred and twenty-eight credits are required for graduation. In addition to the physics courses, twenty-six additional semester hours of General Education Core courses are required. Please refer to the official Undergraduate Bulletin (catalog) for specifics on these "Core" requirements. The catalog also contains information on required grade point averages, and other achievements required to graduate.
