New Degree Programs Approved for SDSU Physics Department

    October, 2009:  The South Dakota Board of Regents approved an 18-hour minor in nuclear engineering at South Dakota State University to enhance current offerings in physics, engineering physics, and mechanical engineering (more details).  
       
    The South Dakota Board of Regents approved a M.S. degree in physics program for three South Dakota Universities in December 2008, including SDSU.  The program began in July 2009.  Some available research opportunities include nuclear/particle physics (DUSEL), thin films, physics education (more details).  For questions, please contact the acting department chair, Joel.Rauber@sdstate.edu .
