Graduate Studies

A Masters Degree in Engineering with a Physics Emphasis is available through the SDSU Physics Department.  In addition to physics courses, elective courses selected from the departments of Mathematics and Statistics, Computer Science, General Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering support a number of career options in physics, an engineering discipline, or further advanced studies in physics. Areas of research concentration include astrophysics, gravitational physics, remote sensing, image processing, condensed matter, materials science, nuclear physics, and theoretical physics.
